[solved] Sleep Mode

hello, maybe this is a stupid question for u but not for me :s
what's sleeping mode ? :S is that when the player turns off the lcd but its still playing a song ? `cause i think that didn't work on my mp4 .. i have a nano looklike mp4

I too found getting the sleep mode to work correctly confusing. To make it work on my nano clone I had to do the following. Go to settings then LCD set. You need to adjust the time in seconds and then push the play button to accept the setting in both the 2nd and 3rd entry (darkle and black).
Setting only one does not seem to work on my player you need to set and accept them both. Now it should work.

Also make sure you have set the clock.

I believe "sleep" turns off your player after a certain time. Much like on a laptop.

Darkle/Dark turns off the LCD screen to dark, but keeps the player on. Example, while you are listening to music, the LCD screen turns off, saving your battery power but letting you listen to your music.

The most important thing you have to remember is to SET A TIME in your Clock Settings. If you don't, then the settings won't work. Also, if you have a [on/off] switch and use that to turn off your player, you will LOOSE the clock settings. Turn off your player by pressing down on the [Play/Pause] button instead.

i was searching this "Darkle/Dark turns off the LCD screen to dark, but keeps the player on", forgive me ... the config is bad traduced into spanish, so i put it in english and with your help i was able to configure it
