2Gb now 1GB after formatting

hi,
i am newbie with my "mp4 like ipod" i made a format with windows, and before i had 2Gb and now I HAVE 1GB ONLY!!!!
Could u help me???

Please alert your seller, and return under warranty. This should not happen w/ a true 2 GB chip.
