My nano-like mp4 player only reads 99 songs max?

Hi... i own a nano-like mp4 from Amconics (wonder if there are others who too have this). It's a 1GB version... i'm able to stuff about 150 songs into my player, play all of them off on my pc. But when it comes to playing in the player itself, it only registers 99 songs which seems to be the max count. When i put the thing on random... i was like wondering, hmm why am i not hearing the ones i clearly remember adding? I know there may be a way to go about this, by creating folders to divide the whole lots into parts but... sigh. Oh another thing... it takes a pretty damn long time to switch between songs, mine takes like about 5 sec. Sometimes it doesnt even respond!

Anyone else experiencing the same? My firmware reads 2005/12/16 3.5.35 2006/02/10 JTYMDO46V4. I had opened up my player b4, the board has this print Apple something something... and also i see a Samsung chip, with an empty space just beside (possible to add another one too). Oh and another question... most of the players are running batteries that rated 3.7V with a really low 350mAh thingy. Was wondering is there anywhere else that i find a similar battery with more mAh? was thinking of the nokia batteries... but after seeing the size, sigh.

toms, you need to split them into folders. If you have 99 in one folder and 51 in another you will be able to play all your music. It's just a glitch keep everything in groups of 99 or less and you should be OK.
