MPX Charging Question

Hi Binh,
I am having my doubts on the proper use of mpx wall chargers.
I had already somehow blown up the fuse of the charger I got with my previous player...now I got another mp4 player about two weeks ago and I haven't touched the new wall adapter because I am afraid I might blow that one up too.

If you could give me a guide on proper use of wall chargers, I'd be much grateful. Are there any restrictions? (as in do I have to wait for the battery to be drained completely before I can use the charger, do I have to disengage the charger after 3 hours or so, or is it automatic when the battery is fully charged, is there a risk of overcharging, etc...?)

My user manual does seem to say something about charging restrictions but it is kinda hard to understand the manual because the grammatical errors are way too intense!

Thanks!
Really appreciate your help

dear

there are no restrictions on charging an MP4 player....

a 5V DC adaptor is fine to charge a MP4 player

there is no need for the battery to drain out...

Thanks for the response, Kumar. I did try my using my charger and it seems to be working fine. Although I did leave my player charging for about two hours and the battery indicator in my player shows only half battery life.

Roughly, what's the average time to fully charge a mpx player?

If there's no restriction on charging, then does this mean that my previous charger was faulty? (For the first time I charged my player with the faulty charger, it worked fine but after that, it didn't charge at all although the green and red indicator lights were showing)

I suggestion I can give is let it power down for the first few chargers. This is recommended by most people when using a device that has a battery in it.

I too have had a dodgy wall charger. It seems they're not all that reliable then if people are complaining about them. Personally, I dont' use the wall charger as I spend enough time on the computer to charge about 100 mpx players!! :D.
