how woulkd i upgrade the FW and install different themes for my Ipod Nano 1 gig Look alike? Is it really nbessecary to install new FW?

Guest, upgrading the firmware just to change the theme is not recommended as you could damage your player with the incorrect firmware.

Reskinning your player to have a different look is easier than trying to fix your player if you try to update with the wrong firmware that's for sure.
