Is it possible to use the Apple Ipod Nano Firmware?

Would it work?

rduckjr, No the Apple Nano firmware would not work with these players. It would take some serious coding to make it compatible. It would be like trying to install Mac OS X on your PC.

It is just not possible the iPod uses a completely different system that would not even be recognised by the Firmware Update Tool.

The ipod firmware won't work on these. I believe the chipset is totally different from the MPx players that are currently out there from China.
