Default Battery life

Hello,

I have a nano Pod like MP4 player. My question comes to battery life, I observe that my battery last more less a day (I think that should not be so normal). What I see is that when I'm listening my player all the time the sreensaver is on, so LCD light is on and I imagine more battery consumes. is there any way to put my MP4 in a non-screensaver mode or screen off mode in order not to have de LCD all the time iluminated ( so as my battery could last more)?

Thank you very much
Juan

Hi pepe,
If you would like your screen to go black while listening to a song go into settings > LCD Settings and choose black or darkle or gamma setting and change that to 5 or 10 and when you leave it for 5 or 10 seconds the screen will turn black.

pepe, on some players you also need to have the clock set for the LCD off function to work.

I have a similar (if not the same problem). When i setup the power off timer, the player goes off ("bye-bye screen") and goes black but the screen continues lighted.

I'll try to re-setup the clock but i think i have it already set.

My player is THE SAME you have in the photo you posted right over

Could it be a design fault, or just a misconfiguration?

Aiken

Aiken, This could help, extract your firmware with s1fwx, run the repair.bat then reload onto your player. This can sometimes fix little nagging problems.
