Not sure what you are wanting to know.
Do you have a 'dead player' that you want to relive again? Or do you just want to update the firmware on your player?

Remember, updating the firmware on your player won't make it any better or give it new features. It will cause your MORE problems in fact.

A firmware update won't fix very many things or give you new features.

What you can try for starters is to FORMAT your player firstly to see if that helps fixes any memory corruption issues.

Let us know if that helps.

Use the "MP3 Player Disk Tool" as part of the "MP3 Player Utilities 3.68" when you install it.

Good luck and let us know if that fixes your problem.

serrefloralia, sounds like the button may be faulty, if so firmware is not going to fix it. I suggest you contact your seller.

I agree with tadad.
I changing the firmware won't help with buttons not working. It sounds more like a faulty key or the connectors on the board isn't work properly.

If it's in warranty, try to get a replacement instead as it shouldn't do that.

Good luck and let us know how you get it and if you were successful.
