Please help. sony mp4 player

I've bought a MP4 Player based on SONY board. its capacity suddenly reduced? MP4 Player based on SONY board. Firware: SC85052A ACT_V3.5.35
Its capacity is 256Mb
When i formatted it some error occured and it could not be formatted fully.
when i formatted it again it completed successfully but now i got only 108Mb.
what do i do?
