Hi,
wow I didn't know there would be forums for these mp3/mp4 players! Anyways I was woundering is it possible to put ipod firmware on these mp3/mp4 players? Also does anyone have on of these with a click wheel on it?

No, the iPods are very different built... They have other formats ect... What you can do is make an iPod Design for your Player (I'm creating one, will upload it soon). ;)

Do you mean icons and images of the ipods you want to put in your MPx player? If so, then I would start first by Googling "ipod theme" and see what you find.....

Or do you mean, how to 'reskin' your player to make it look like the ipods? If so, then try look here: http://www.mympxplayer.com/viewtopic.php?t=460. It has a never nice looking iPod boot up sequence you can use on your mpx player.

Well I googled it and noothing as been returned. I would liek to help contribute and helop make a theme as close to the ipod nano as possible.

ok I put the iod pics on the menue and it looks wierd! Th ewords for example: (music) it says m m m music. The m's are half cut off and the full word is there beside 3 m's. Its the same thing fo rthe rest of the words. Also where it says ipod at the top it is dubled. I haven't put the Myriad Pro Regular on yet. I need to know where to put it. Please help.

The Myriad Pro Regular is a font that you put on your PC, to edit the pics on photoshop.. =P
You DON'T put it on your MPX!

why does my mpx look weird with the words?

I put the ipod theme on there and it looks funny.

Do I supose to put the pictures only on one picture of the menue pics?

I dunno about yours, but mine has only one bitmap for each of the menus.. =P
Try to "copy & paste" the menu bitmap of the iPod, and then rename it to the other frames you have in your menu. About the words, it shoulb be alright, since it's "fusioned" with the picture.. =T

mine has about 6 images for one menue item. Like music has 6 images for it.

Try to copy and paste it! ;)
Then you replace each picture with the same copied one of the iPod got it? ^^

thats what i'm doing, but it shows the messed up version. Do I need to just put the pictures in just 4 images instead of all 6?

Then try photoshoping it to fit your screen! ;)
You can also modify some things, like the battery, you can put it on.. ^^

So, you probably won't be able to get this firmware...
Besides, iPod firmware is A LOT different, starting by the "touch panel" for moving..
DON'T TRY TO PUT IT ON YOUR MPX, OR YOU'LL FRY IT!
