Changing type of mp3 file

Is there any way I can change files formatted with Real Player to MPEG Layer 3 formatting so it will work with my mp4 player? I uploaded a bunch of files and all but those formatted to real player transferred.

Correction: The files formatted by Real Player were the only ones that did NOT load to my player.

Trying to Learn,
If you register as a member you will be able to edit and add comments to your post. There is a registration link at the top of the page.

Regarding your problem all video files need to be converted to AMV before they will play on your MP4.
You can download the conversion software HERE
There is also a guide to using the software in the Knowledge Base HERE

AMV is the most common format for these players but there are others I suggest you download some sample files from HERE and try them on your player.

Trying to Learn,

Try converting your Real Media files to MP3 using:
MediaCoder, downloadable from here.

Your player won't be able to play .rm or .ram (Real Media) files, it has to be converted to .mp3 or .wma for it to play on your player.

Hope this answers your question.
