Is it possible to increase the memory capacity?

Hi,

Is there anyone familiar with electronics over here? Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the original memory chip with a larger capacity memory? For e.g, upgrade from 1GB to 4GB or so.

It is possible, but it would require a steady hand in soldering and finding a supplier for the particular memory. The pins are so fine and small, I wouldnt recommend hand soldering anyway. My opinion, it would'nt be worth the time and labor.
