Increase Volume Output

Hi is it possible to increase the volume output on the 2G nano clone ? Ive relashed the firmware to 3.3.35 with the ipod nano style menu screens but the volume is still quite low when pumped up to full !

It could of course be the supplied 2.5mm headphones - has anyone managed to find any decent better quality 2.5 in-ear headphones anywhere ? The only ones I could find on Ebay looked the same !

Changing the firmware will not increase ur volume output instead u mamy end up with a "dead player" if the firmware doesnt match with ur player.
u can customize the menu and icons of ur player by editing the firmware, it will not increase the volume output.

PS: Always have a back up of ur original firmware.

jlgmX, It is most likely your headphones, I recommend buying a good quality pair. I ended up buying a 2.5mm-3.5mm adapter you should be able to pick one up at any electronics store. Also Nokia make an adapter for their mobile phones.
The difference in sound quality with a good set of earphones is quite amazing.

Who big is an adapter ? I think it´s terible if there is so a big adapter on the mp4 player ...

Are you talking about the volume of your MUSIC files or volume of your .AMV VIDEO files instead? Are they both 'low' or just the VIDEO files are low?
