Help with Editing FW
 

Is it possbile for someone to do it for me?

You know, just use s1r3s to upload the modified images to my dump file?

I am having problems with the filenames of the original firmware file and the file I am going to replace it with.

Most of the time, I get confused and put in the wrong file; screwing up my player (I'm using a 1.5" nano Clone btw).

mikoscience, Does your firmware have the Lotus Flower Theme?

You can "update" pictures to the firmware even if their names aren't the same as showed in the FW! ;)
You just have too change the right pic! ^^

The steps to changing editing your FW is very easy.

The Knowledge Base guide - How to: Modify your firmware using s1res tool from here will guide you through, along with screenshots.

You can't really go wrong as the s1res tool will tell you if the image is imcompatible.

Also, if you use YOUR OWN firmware, you will be fine.
Make sure you read the other Knowledge Base articles which will guide you through extracting your firmware and updating your player with your edited firmware as well.

If you get stuck, you can always ask for help here as well.
