Looking for some infos about my player

Hello, I have a MP3/4 player from Ebay, branded Tychonic TY-M4T07.

They have a web site www.tychonic.com, but in their download section no firmware updates are available. I wrote them, but no reply.

My player datas:

tychonic ty-m4t07

pcb code
2005-09-12
pm-711c-cl-v4.0

firmware
acts16d_13
2005/06/01

ws-3.2.16
2005/09/08

It can manage music with lyrics, amv videos, voice and radio recording, fm radio, photos, txt files, one game (but in firmware I see the description of other 3 games)
Anybody else have this player?

Obviously I'm looking for new firmware, if any available.

I have a similar player, not sure of the firmware version though. However, DON'T have any games.

Can you use the s1fwx tool to extract your firmware please? I would be very interested in seeing what it's capable of.

Just remember though that updating the firmware on your player with an incompatible firmware can give you a 'dead player'. All you need to do is look at the "Dead Players" section of this forum to see what I mean.

If it works, then I would say, leave it as it is. Updating the firmware of your player with an imcompatible one gives you a good chance of rendering your player unusable and you will spend more time trying to fix it than it's worth just to try to have two games extra (but even that might not work altogether).

Stephy, If you go to the Downloads>Uploads by Members section there is an Upload button at the top of the page.
