Default My Nano clone wont list my music files


hi, my mp4 player, a nano clone, won't list my songs.
when i go into root and select the folder with all my songs on
it just comes up with a \ sign and when i select that, it takes me back to root again
i need to know how to get the dam thing to show the names of my songs
please help

Alexis,

I don't think it can list the songs.
I've heard of newer players being able to do it, but the majority of MPx players, can't list all songs during playback or in the music menu.

It's a "wishlist" item, just hope someone who produces the chip is reading this and add it as a feature .

Alexis Dervin, They cant do it. You can only browse folders. the best thing to do is create a Music folder and then place your music into it in folders for ARTIST, ALBUM, JAZZ, ROCK what ever then you can browse to a specific folder press the play button and then scroll left or right to the track you want. No where near perfect but the best the player offer at present.

There is some firmware in the download section that is supposed to list music. But I'm not brave enough to try it.
