LCD light
Hi, I'm new to this forum, it's a great site!!! Helped me alot already, I was just wondering if anyone experience this problem before:
After modifying the backuped up firmware of your MP4 player, changing only pictures then uploading it back to your MP4 player, makes it so that during mp3 music playback, the backlight won't shut off, thus draining battery power really quickly. what I have tried: -changing sleep time -reloading original firmware None helped, but before I modified the firmware, the light would shut off after about 5 seconds during mp3 playback steup: Firmware 3.5.37 1 GB 1.5" nano clone thanks for any tips! |
Re: LCD light
hi,
yeah. i had the same problem. But i figured out how to fix it. On ur chiPod go to the setup menu and then go to LCD set. It should say brightness, darkle and black. Go to the black menu and then set the time you want it to turn off your screen. Hope it helps cos it did for me! Good Luck |

Also, when you flash the firmware on your player, most of the time, it resets your clock as well. I know with my players, if you don't set a clock setting, the darkle and dark settings never work! So, try setting a time and date first to see if that also helps. |
