I didn't know they have FM transmitters for the Ipod Nano copies. Mine is advertised to have FM already; but the reception is terrible. Does this work with the mp4 players like mine, even if it already has FM built in?

Re: Help for FM Transmitter !

I have this FM Transmitter here: http://mediaplayers.co.nz/index.php?...d&productId=14.

It works fine on my car stereo. The sound is good enough. I haven't tried the FM tuner from my mpx player through to that FM transmitter though.

I do notice that in some areas it gets abit 'cracky' and I get some interference and static noise. But then it goes away. My FM transmitter has four different FM stations to turn it too.

What FM range is your transmitter transmitting it in? Mine is in the 88.x range. Some are in the 100.x range.

Re: Help for FM Transmitter !

Hey Darkpower, I think we have the same player and the same problem with constant pitch noise.

My suggestion...put in the floor and jump on it untill it break in million pieces.
Thatīs what Iīm going to do with mine if I donīt get a solution in a few days...driving me crazy.

I have just opened mine to see the circuit and I notice that the antenna is pointed to the back of the transmitter....maybe itīs own battery is causing such noise. Or our player is a piece of shi* and itīs better for us throw it away and stop trying to search for solutions.....that will never make it work properly.

Advise other people to never buy this gadget...

Thanks

Mine seems to work fine in my player with no constant pitch noise.

It might be your FM transmitter and the range it's transmitting in....... Unfort, I don't have one like yours so I can't really say. I have one transmitter and it seems to work fine in my car stereo while player music. I haven't tried playing radio stations from it though....
