Default s1res error


Hi i'm new to the nano clone scnene

when i change a firmware with s1res i have a overfloow error when i treidt
to save the firmware

Da_fixer, This can sometimes happen when you change the text strings with less or more characters. I have found that the firmware will still work fine despite the message, but to be safe make sure you have a clean dump in backup.

Da_fixer,

tadad is correct in saying that.
If you tried modifying the TEXT strings in your firmware file, then you would probably get this error message. If you want to change the text string, make the number of text characters to be LESS than or equal to the existing one. Not MORE as you will probably get this error.

What you can also try is to REDOWNLOAD the s1res tool and delete the one you have on your computer. Yes it does sound strange, but afew members have reported that their s1res got corrupted somewhere along the lines and was producing errors. They redownloaded the tool and that solved their problem.

Try that and let us know if that fixes your problem or not.
