mp4 player as a audio microphone?

First of all, I just want to say this is a fantastic website.

I would to know whether my MP4 nano clone can be used as a microphone for my computer and how do I go about doing it. I thought I read somewhere in this forum that it is possible. Thanks.

guest. There are a few players that have VOIP capabilities and when connected to your PC can be used with skype as an internet phone.

please help me out
my player is not recoginised by any of the copmuter....
it was working fine till one day...
i used a frtiends laptod to upload my music....
then a file was found in my player,i could't delete it...so i formated my player not using utilities tool,but instad went to the drive and right clicked and chooose format
another window opened and i choose fat and pressed start......
it was fully formated then i again downnloaded all my fav music and videos.....
then removed my player from the device....
2days later wheni connected the player to my comp...usb did't read my player....and when i keep it to recharge the recharging icion does not show...but the battery gets recharged....it says my player support 6hrs of video and 9hrs of music battery life...
but i only get nearly 3hr for music battery life
please help me... wats wrong wit my player

thomman85, try connecting the player to a different USB port preferably one you have not used the player on before.
Regarding the battery I have found that a lot of sellers exagerate the battery life to encourage you to buy, but you should be getting more than 3 hrs. Does your lcd turn off when playing music or stay on?
You should expect between 5 and 8 hours music play time with all powersaving features enabled depending on the size of your battery.
