Browsing Firmware question?

Hello,

I have a nano like MP4 player with 1GB. I've seen that in the firmware section there's a firmware (3.5.37) that says it has a "browsing music file" feature. My question is to know if really that feature works and if it is compatible with my player (I would not like to die my player........) have anyone tried it ?? Results??

What firmware version is your current player?
While it is nice to be able to have the function to browse for files, but bear in mind that flashing your player with an incompatible firmware will most likely give you a 'dead player'. Worst news, a number of people have never been able to full recover their player back to normal after that.

So, I guess it's up to you whether you want to risk it. I would NOT recommend it as you can't be 100% sure that using someone else's firmware will be compatible on your player......

Sorry I can't give you definate answer, but I don't recommend it.

pepe, I have tried the 3.5.37 file browsing version on my 3.5.37 player that has no file browsing and ended up with a black screen but was able to restore my backup. I agree with Binh try at your own risk.
