Error when Clicking convert

hi, i've looked thru some of the topics and havnt come across my problem
i've tried converting somestuff lyk some video clips and some more larger stuff like family guy episodes
when i click convert, the conversion begins, the status of the video would then change from "unconverted" to error
and then if i try to repeat the conversion, even with different releases of amv converter, it fails
any help would be greatly appreciated! (even if im scolded for not thoroghly searching thru posts)

Hi there, i just like to say thanks alot for that link. altho i did download it and use it, i found it not as useful compared to the one i dwonloaded from another site.
i googled that file that was on that link and found this site where it had other codecs that were related to that file on that link

Yoy0YO, So have you finally got the problem fixed or are you still having trouble converting to AMV?

yeh, cheers you guys, realy helped lots. haha, now i can watch lyk family guy and lost on my mp3 playing thing...
