Default hello please help


hello i am new to the forums and this site i bought my mp4/mp3 player a few months after formating it and putting all new songs on it won't switch on unless connected to the computer any help would be appreiciated thank you

no ideas then anyone i need it going on holidays tomorrow wanted to bring my mp3 wish i had've bought that walkman phone last year i dunno

Hey GodLives, try this. Once your player is not connected to the computer press and hold the center button (Play/Pause Button) for a few seconds, see if the screen turns on. Have you tried turning it on and off while connected to the power supply (not computer but to an electrical outlet.

thank bsaylors however tried it no luck connected it to electric supply does the same goes when plugged in but take it out and it doesn't work thanks anway

godlives,
Has this only started happening since you formatted the player?
Does your player run as normal when plugged into your PC?
If you have a backup of your firmware try reloading it to your player.
If you do not have a backup download s1fwx HERE and extract your firmware runthe repair.bat in the s1fwx folder and then load it back to your player.
You can find instructions on how to do this in the Knowledge Base HERE

well tad1 took me a while tried that but no luck looks like i have no mp3 for my holidays funny how things let you down at the wrong times thank you for your help anyway
