Can I make my screen sleep while I'm just playing MP3s?

It's just annoying, that when I'm listening to MP3s, my player keeps on showing the screensaver over and over, wasting the battery. It'd last longer if the screen would go to sleep while I don't need it.

This can't be done in player settings, can it be done with a firmware hack or whatever? I'm using the 1.8" 2GB version.

phantomflanflinger, I have not got any players with screensavers so do not know much about them but there must be a setting somewhere to turn them off. The other thing you may need to do is go to Settings>LCD Set>Dark,Darkle or Black depending on your player and set the slider to anything from 5 - 30 seconds then press play. Now your screen should turn off after the time you set.
