As far as I know, upgrading the player can result in a dead player.
You have to find a 3.5.37 firmware that matches YOUR player and there are so many !
Before doing anything, backup your original firmware, it will help if you kill your player.

Is there a reason why you want to upgrade your player? Are you having problems with it?

As Moa26 mentioned, you have a very high chance of having a 'dead player' if you upgrade your player with an incompatible firmware. Then you have to go through the process of recovering it and even then, it might bring your player back to 100% full functionality.

"If it's not broken, don't try to fix it" is probably your best bet.

If you just want to change the way the images look and customise it, then that's a better option.
