got a big problem with my mp4

Well ... I just downloaded the AMV CONVERTER 4.0 and I could convert my mpeg files ........... (supposely normal).... but when i tried to watch them on my mp4 ...... they worked just some seconds and then a message appeared ...... FORMAT ERROR......
. I read the some posts about something similar here
so I ve already deleted all files and formatted my mp4 and it doesnt work...... now I think the problem is with the software i got because: first) the mp4 got a video sample in AMV format and it works normally ..... and SECOND) because I cant enter some options about the FRAME and others

please help me as quick as possible........ i dont know what I should do ..... I thought it was because of the FAT.............. but someone else told me NOT.............please help .......again

luigie666,
If you have a 1.8 LCD then you should be converting to 160x120. The best converter to use for this if you are having "Format Error" warnings is version 3.57 HERE and settings to use are HERE

If your LCD is 1.5 then you should convert to 128x96 for widescreen or 128x128 for fullscreen using 3.68 or 4.03, If you get "Format Error" warning lower the frame rate to medium. If you choose to use 4.03 you need to edit the AmvTransform.ini with notepad and set to CHIPTYPE=0 to unlock the 1.5 settings. You will find AmvTransform.ini in the Amv Converter folder.
