Recently I bought this mp4 which I am very happy about.but the clock seems to run fast, can somebody tell me if there is a solution for this problem.

I've never had a problem with the clocking running fast. If that is the case, then it seems to be a timing issue with the chip on the board within your player instead than a firmware issue.

Sorry I couldn't provide a definate answer for you.

If your player still in warranty? How long have you had it? Maybe you can take it back to the seller and ask for an exchange? I would have to say you would be the first to mention their clock in running fast....

Thank you for your reply, the thing is that i bought it from ebay and you must sent it back to be replaced ,so its a bit of a hussle to me, any way its not that important if the clock runs but !!!

victority, I have yet to find a player where the clock did not run fast so it is not just your player.

Re: clock seems to run fast

Hi,

I posted a query on this issue a while ago in this forum here

I guess we have to live with the problem rather than risk "hosing" the player trying to fix this.

Cheers from Mike

The clock setting is used only to put a date and time stamp on any recordings you make with your player.

All times are GMT -7. The time now is 7:09 pm.
