after runing CheckUDisk this is what it came up with Name: Sunplus MultiMedia disk (USB1.1) Logic Driver: E:\ VID&PID: Vid_04fc&Pid_757a Speed: full speed VendorID: LinkWin ProductID: MVS Player Product Revision: 1.00 Vendor Description: LinkWin Co Ltd Product Description: Sunplus MultiMedia disk Serial Number: 01.00.00 |
darkspark2134, I do not know if one exists for SunPlus players, any forums I have read regarding them once they are cactus they can not be fixed or it needs to be done at factory level with the original programming gear. "yyttu" has a Sunplus player and has been combing the net for utilities for it but has not found any so far.

Re: looking for
When i guess i am lucky it still palys movies and mp3s then it just the menu that is gone whitch means no: record set
: My picture : FM radio : Language select : Disk manage : screen setup : my ebooks : dictionary : equalizer : repeat set I dont know if this helps but i was told the brand of it was Myko model UM-833 i have upload 3 images to http://myko-um833.mypicgallery.com/ of my mp4 and the screen before and after i hit format |
darkspark2134, Not familiar with sunplus players but they must store the images on the drive somehow and formatting it has deleted them. If you set explorer to show hidden files and super hidden system files then browse the second player you may find the image files you need and can copying them to the first player may fix the problem. Just a guess mind you but a format will generally not cause any problems with firmware as it is generally stored in a locked sector of the drive.

darkspark2134,
The other thing you could try is there is a program called Undisker that can create backup drive images of USB devices, you could create an image on one and then load it to the other. It may include the missing files in the image. |
Re: tool to back up Sunplus MultiMedia disk
I just run Undisker and it did not work the menu is still gone
