Default [solved] Unidentified File

When I download from the download section i have problems with the files. An example is i downloaded both the matrix start up screen and the shutdown. when i extracted the shutdown screen all was fine, there was a file with the bmp images. When i unzipped the start up screen there was a wmv file that would not play and then i tried to extract images from it i get a notepad document with loads of unreadable writting. is there something eveyone is using to get the images to make them work. this happens with about 50% of the downloads. Its the themes that are giving me trouble. Another one is File - MTMPx Theme. Help!!

king605, I just downloaded the three files you mention and have no problem with any of them. They are all .rar archives and when extracted all contain the images required for the theme parts. As they are RAR files and not ZIP you need to use Winrar or 7Zip to extract the files, though if you were able to extract the Matrix Shutdown theme you should be able to extract the others.
If they are downloading with a different format other than .rar try to change theme to .rar and then extracting.

Let me know if this helps

Thanks for the fast reply. when i download the computer normally downloads a rar with winRAR but i checked and on some occassions it was not doing this. after manually setting it to recognise the download as a RAR it worked. thanks for the help.
