How to format iPod nano clone in FAT
 

I can´t format my iPod clone to FAT but I can format it to FAT32 with Window Explorer. Only option in Explorer is FAT32, can´t change.

MP3 Player utilities 4.00 says Not supporting this type of disk.

How to format FAT?

Data of my iPod nano clone:

iPod clone 4GB MP4/AMV/REC/FM (actually 1GB)

Board revision as printed on PCB:
MP-693C-SL Main V1.3 2005.12.14

Chips:
ATJ2085W and
Hynix HY27UF081G2M

Filmware that i had:
SC85051C 2006/03/29 ACT_V3.5.35

LCD still blue :evil:

Prospector, You could try using the Hp Format Tool HERE . Others have found it sometimes works when all else fails.

Hey , I tried this and it failed. What should I do? Please help. I cannot even format my MP4 nano clone. it is meant to be 4GB but i doubt it. I cant even put any songs on it as i cant format!!

Hey I've tried this also ( see my thread) .... still no luck.I'm in the same position as RST999.
