convert DVD problem using 4.03
 

This is my first player, so I am having trouble to convert the movie. Please help.
I try to convert a DVD which contain 4 VOB files, and I am using MP# Player Utilities 4.03. The program only convert part sence from each file. Let's say the VOB should contain 1 hour, the program only convert the first 12 mins.

Am I missing something?

By the way, the Utilities 3.68 contains virus, does anyone has a clean one?

Hi Vincent, I also had problem when converting the VOB files directly using AMV converter instead i found a work around.
First u convert the VOB files into avi files.Then try converting those avi files using AMV converter tool it will work.
For ripping the DVD u can use DVD decryptor.It will rip the DVD files onto ur hard disk then use softwares like PocketDivxencoder to convert them to avi.
Make sure u have installed all the necessary codes beforehand.U can install K-lite mega codec pack.

I am successful in converting vob files to AMV files with the following:

Convert vob files > avi using Xmpeg software
Convert avi files > amv files using AMV Converter Version 4.00 with K-Lite Mega Codec installed.
