Default low battery in my 2 gb mp4 player

I have the player about 24 houres,
I fully rechrege and discherge the player two times!
and the battery is very weak, about 3 houres until it shut down!
when it show that the battery is full, after 5 mintues the icon drop one
level.

what can I do with this?
maybe the battery is bad? or 3 houres of playing is normal?

torn22, How long are you charging your player for? Give it 4-5 hours and see if it makes a difference. If the LCD is on all the time it can drain the battery quickly, go to Settings\LCD Set\Darkle, dark or Black (Depending on your player) and set the slider to 15 -30 seconds, then your screen will turn off when playing music. The battery sizes vary between players but you should expect between 5 -8 hrs continuous music play with power saving on and 3- 4 hours Video play.

I want to know this becuse I open mine to check the battery mah.
and my battery mph is seem to be 250 mah.
that look's very week power, compared to my phone.

torn22, Most players are around 200 - 250 mAh but I have seen some 340 and 400 mAh but generally there is not enough space for a battery of this size.
