Default Trouble Updating Firmware

Iīm willing to update my firmware because it doesnīt rotates videofiles automatically:

I have a 1.8" 1GB MP4 like this:
Click the image to open in full size.

It has the same shell, menu and firmware as user "Telexys" used to have:
---------------------
telexys , on 16 Jul, as explained on this topic , put a Photo of his player which shell is similar to mine, menu and he mentioned his firmware was
"firmware ACTS 16D_13(2005/06/01)
WS-3.2.13(2005/11/10) =version 3.5.35"

When I go to the setup part of my player and ask for the firmware version option, it displays the following characteristics:
"ACTS 16D_13 (2005/06/01)
WS-3.2.13 (2005/11/10)"
(donīt know which version)
Therefore, I guess they, at least, had the same firmware on "day 0".
---------------------------
Then, telexys updated his firmware THEN upgraded his firmware on 30 Jul as shown here on 30 Jul:
to ACTS16D_37(2006/04/14)
WS-3.2.13(2005/11/10)...
with the "bliushift's" landscape rotated firmware 3.5.37"
---------------------------------
I downloaded the file here and it came with the name f8fb4b733d228da8e9ddc883ce56d168.bin. Running the MP3 Player Upgrade Tool which came with the MP3 Utilities Tools 4.00, it first detected my firmware:
Click the image to open in full size.
Pressing the "Select new firmware" button, It read it very quickly and this screen was showed:
Click the image to open in full size.
By pressing the "Begin Upgrading", very quickly, in about 10s, this warning came:
Click the image to open in full size.
-------------------------------------------

Tried it 4times now, luckly I didnīt end with a Dead Player. Therefore, What am I doing wrong and What should I do?

PS: It was already discussed, in part, on this topic

Victor1980, Try renaming the file to dump.bin I have noticed the upgrade tool does not like long names or chinese characters.

Victor1980, With your firmware information being the same as telexys I would have thought you would not have a problem loading the file even if it did not work. I can only suggest you try some basic changes like using a different usb port, trying a different version of upgrade tool. I have loaded bliushift's firmware on to a couple of my players and it loads fine so the problem is not with the firmware.

At least the Error message changed:
Click the image to open in full size.

I switched the USB port, unistalled AMV 4.00 and instaled 3.57. Tryed it 3 times. ops: With the AMV 3.68, the old warning returned: "Invalid Upgrade Firmware File"

Victor1980

Does the Upgrade Tool work with your original dump.bin file instead?

I wonder whether there's a problem with your USB cable instead?

Personally I haven't got this message before, but I haven' tried other people's firmware. I have always used my backed up one.

What you could also try is a DIFFERENT COMPUTER altogether to see if you are able to upgrade from there instead.
