modifying my original FW
 

Is it ok modifying my original FW to edit boot up/exit screen ? Or will this cause a dead player. I just want to change the damn flowers to like a nano theme or somethin.

It's highly recommended that you modify your OWN firmware. This means that when you reload it back on, you will know it will work because it's from YOUR player.

Just make sure you make a backup of it in case you need the original, unmodified firmware again.
