i rekon the firmwares capable but the hardware isnt

geostar, All the firmware starts off as generic and then is tailored by the board or player manufacturer to suit. There are many components that exist within the firmware that are not enabled so just because your firmware contains ogg related files does not mean that it is compiled to play ogg files.
