S1res Save as
 

I got my mpx player when this great site was down.
so had to wait before being sure on how to modify my firmware and get some themes. :wink:

The one thing i did notice when having finally edited my firmware was that the Save As function in S1res save it as File which meant that it couldn't be read by the firmware upgrade tool.

I was new to this function (and windows) and didn't realise(for a few minutes) that if you just added the extension .bin to the file name it would save it as a a BIN file which could be read by the upgrade tool. Thought i'd just mentioned it as it is not in the S1res knowledge base post and might help those who like me are not great shakes at this stuff. :roll:
