Default dowloading music to my MP3/mp4 player

Hi can someone please help. I downloaded Powerdesk pro (im assuming this is what I was supposed to do) I was told to paste all my music into drive 'e" which I did. Can't download music to this lemon. I keep getting Powerdesk Pro incurred an error and must close. Do I even need this to move music. What other options do I have???? Thanks C

Hi mack5858,

Not sure what "Powerdesk pro" is used for.

The MPx players are really easy to download music on. Think of it as a "removable USB memory stick", that's the easiest way to use it.

Once you plug your MPx player into your computer through the USB, it will come up as a drive (in your case "e" I believe). Then just use plan Windows Explorer and copy and paste the music from your computer onto that drive. Much like copying a file from one location to another.

Once you finish, make sure you remove the device safely from your computer rather than just unplugging it off the USB cable.

Hope that helps.

okay, than Im not sure why I have this software that came with this mp3 player. I have all my music now in the e drive. Im not that great on the computer, but this unit came with no directions. When I plug the unit in, nothing happens. Should the music from e drive automatically move? Ipod is really easy, you plug it it, and the music downloads. Please help with step, by step if possible, I was on for hours reading this web-site trying to figure it out. Thanks christe

cv1 is right, just leave it at 'normal' anything else might cause you problems.

Quick Start Guide:

1. Turn on your player (disconnected from your computer's USB cable) by pressing down on the [play/pause] button.

2. Choose the "Music" menu and select it by pressing the [M] button (generally).

3. To play your music, just press the [play] button.

4. If you want to return back to the main menu, press and hold down on the [Menu] or [M] button and it should take you back to the main menu.

Hope that helps.

mack5858, Is your music stored on your PC on Drive E: When you plug your player into your PC another drive should appear in Explorer. For instance if you already have A: C: D: E: drives on your PC you will have an extra drive F: when you connect your player. You can access it by clicking on it in explorer. Then you just copy and paste your music files into it.
