FM sound volume not working

I have 1 GB mp3/mp4 player, quite standard I guess. I cant adjust sound volume in FM radio mode - sound volume could be easily adjusted in Music mode. I have just reinstalled the firmware: formatted the disk and reinstalled the original firmware I backed up using the tool found on this website (SC85051F, 2006/04/25 ACT_V3.5.35). Any ideas how to fix the problem? Thanks!

So when you press and hold down on the [Vol +] or [Vol -] button, either of them doesn't work at all during FM radio listening?

It's just ONE level volume during FM playback is that right?

Can you try the following please?

1. Try various different channels as well.

2. Try a different set of earphones just in case also.
