Re: Update firmware ---> screw up my screen :(
Your friend's player may look the same on the outside, but the internal components may be totally different.
What I can think of is to download the current firmware from your own player, and using the S1fwx tool to manually re-edit the picture sequence. You may need to use an external graphic editing program. In this case i think MS Paint is enough, there is a mirror function. It is a time-consuming job, but is safer than trying random firmware which might kill your player. Good luck. |

the players was bought at the same store... he just bought yours a mont ago, and I bought it yesterday |
Re: Update firmware ---> screw up my screen :(
The inverted text you mentioned is the one in the image file you attached? Those text are actually part of the graphic files.
If you try playing your mp3s, does the mp3 filenames appear inverted too? If so, it is most probably firmware or processor issue. It'll be better to go back to the store to get some help or repairs done there, since you just bought it a day or two ago, should be still under warranty. If the mp3 filenames appear normal, then it is a graphics problem. |

I am not sure that they take the guarantee , because I modified firmware... Iīm very frustrated T_T |
Re: Update firmware ---> screw up my screen :(
if practically everything, even the filenames appear invertered, it's better to go back to the shop to get some help. They might have the proper firmware for your player.

primopearl, This is most likely a hardware problem and you should contact your seller for replacement or repair.
