the mysterious 109 Mb
Hi hello,
after the bad luck of a fucked up hacked 1Gb nano (details here), I've got lucky enough to have an honnest seller that changed my defectuous nano for a new 1Gb nano. cool. Went home, Win XP tells me there is 1Gb, i copy 800 Mb of files in it. After 10 songs, the files are corrupted. I do a format, quick one first, test it, same, low level then, test it, same. Unplug, replug... and again... windows suddenly sees only 109Mb. :!: Same annoying 109Mb that don't correspond to any standard memory size. The Setup>Memory size indicates 109Mb too. I thought that the previous player had a defectuous memory due to a bad hacking (a fake 2Gb). :?: But why this one who has actually a 1Gb chip would be defectuous ?? :?: Why having 109Mb working perfectly fine and missing 90% of the chip size ? :?: Why 109 ? Why not 128 or 256 ? well.. what to do now ? |
Re: the mysterious 109 Mb
alright alright, what i thought was a 1Gb chip is in fact a 128 Mb chip, thanks to Iridium.
So what do I complain about. Maybe that Iridium get 119Mb at the end when I get only 109Mb. So unfair. |
Re: the mysterious 109 Mb
You're better off returning the player and getting a refund of your purchase price. Prices for a 128MB compared to a 1GB player is way much lower.

Nicolas are you in Hong Kong? From which store did you buy this player from? How much did you pay for it (in HKD)?
Go back tell him hes a cheat, make a lot of noise and get your money back and don't get another player from that guy. I would recommend you buy from Wan Chai stores, they are reazonable priced and are of good quality. |
