Re: MP4 won't play WMA files
I had the same problem with my mp4 player. I figured out that my player reads "format error" when the wma files are protected. That occurs if you ripped the songs from the cd with windows media. Try reripping the songs or importing them to iTunes so that the songs will be in m4a format and download a program called JHymm (search on Yahoo, its right there) and the program will get rid of the protected thing on the files, plus the program will convert your m4a songs into mp3 or wav, so its fine. Hope this helps!
