How to actually *use* the player ??? (Folders??)
 

Hi Folkz.
Got a mp4player with 2gb from ebay. my problem is now that i just dont know how to use this player...
1) How to select a folder?
When i store some mp3s in different folder on the player, and then start the player i can play a folder (first one created). HOW do i select another folder? Press M, select local folder. then i just get a list of files in just that created folder, but im not able to select any other folder on the drive or subfolder from this folder. When i play the songs, the player switches the folders, but i myself cant change.

2) i cant select the radio point in the menu. the player has an FM label.

r3wDy, When you are in the folder view and can see the files within the folder you need to move the cursor right to the top above the first file then press the menu button will take you up a level. There should be a folder icon and a \

Thx for the help, but thats right the problem... there is no "\" in my player even if there are more than one folder. in pictures i can change folders, in records i can, in movies i can, but just in mp3 where i think its important, there is no "\" so i cant change the folder.
I think this is a firmaware problem :/ so i tried so merge my firmware with a nano style firmware but now it shows "No Files" :/ is there a special folder structure that i need to have to find files?? Or is there a known way to get my "\" ??

Yeah :D Just made it ^^ my player is running now a nano firmware ^^ with this firmware an my usbdisk.ap im am able to access my files an folders :D

That's interesting.
So you have used someone else's firmware and it works ok?

Can you tell us more details about your existing firmware and the new Nano firmware you used on the player please?

It would be helpful for others.
