Default Setting clock on my mp4 player.


I have tried the instructions to set the clock but nothing works. I see the date at 2005 01 01 I have tried using the play key it does nothing if I hit it twice the unit shuts down. HELP Please..... So How do I change the date and time on this unit......

On my nano clone pressing the Play button will sellect the year, < > will scroll the year up or down. When you set the year pushing the play button again will move on to the month < > scroll, play move on etc.. Once you have set it the menu button wil exit the setting. Some have reported that the clock will only stay set if they let the clock setting screen time out and go back to settings on it's own.
On another player Vol+, Vol- moves the cursor, < > scrolls the date up or down menu button to exit.
On yet another Vol button moves the cursor, < > scrolls the number Menu button exits.
The clock is a piece of crap anyway and runs way to fast. It is used for time and date stamps on recordings, and power saving timer settings. If you turn your

My colck does the same thing as yours - it's un-settable. Oh well! :roll:

Try extracting your firmware as a .bin file, then FORMAT your player (backup what you need), then reload the firmware back on it again.

If that helps.
It might be a fault or corruption in the flash memory that's causing all those problems.
