WINDOWS ME SUPPORT??

Hi,

I have purchased many players 2gb and 1gb mp4 players. The latest one for my neice and she has windows me installed.

Is there anyway to get them to work with ME. I can find a driver anywhere and it is not recognised when connected to the computer.

Please if anyone knows away to get it connected so we can transfer music over usin ME id much appreciate it.

On the same subject it seems I can connect the psp to the ME machine via usb either. Please any USB drivers to help support the MP4 player.

The disc that came with the player seems to supply a 98 instal of drivers which i tried with no success.

Re: WINDOWS ME SUPPORT??

jamo9000,

We have some Windows 98/Windows ME drivers on our site under:

[Downloads -> Tools -> Drivers/Codecs] section.

The "Downloads" link is on the left hand side menu bar.

There are three different drive packs available, so hopefully one of them will make your WinMe work. Try them and let us know of the result.

hi I tried all three drivers. I have Windows ME so some were not for me. I downloaded them and the one with the rar ext was not recognized as a driver. #2 I un zipped and selected it when installing new hardware and the computer said the one I had was better. I feel like the drivers I get them but dont know how to apply them. I keep installing the MP4 as a USB disk storage but to no avail. I have used the mp4 on another computer and downloaded music onto it and it works fine. IT was a hacked one though it only had 1 gb instead of 2. Please help. Ive tried changing USB ports and when I right click on my computer my window doesnt look like the one in the example you give that says to ignore something or other. It just says under the hardware tab, original configuration. I must be doing something wrong. Thanks.
