problems with vl-547
 

helo all,
i have problem with vl-547 player. it was functioning normally, but now when i turn it on, i cannot use keys on it, and it powers off after 10-15 seconds. what is that? is there any workaround for that?
what software to use in order to change sleep settings?
i can access it from my pc and my pc sees it as normal usb disk

If all of your keys are not working it sounds like a hardware issue. The only way to adjust the power off setting is through the player LCD set menu but if your keys are not working then this is not going to help.
You could try extracting and repairing your firmware with s1fwx and then load it into Waterlily and try re-assigning the player keys and load it back to your player but it is a long shot. You can download both peograms from the Downloads>Tools section.

Did you do anything to your player prior? Or did it just happen out of the blue/all of a sudden?

VL is a Visual Land product right?
What is the warranty status of your player?
If you haven't done anything to your player (like dump an incompatible firmware on it), then try to get it sorted under warranty if you can. That's my best suggestion.

Like tadad mentioned, it does sound like a faulty hardware more.
