[SOLVED] - can't record, no files / saved in voice folder
 

hi,

i recently have in possesion of a mp4 player (1Gb), all features are fine except for the record. tried "Record", the screen displays REC24 (WAV32K), after record attempts, the screen show SAVING,
but when i go to "Voice", no files found. browsed in PC, tried copying the RECORD folder from other mp4 player (of same brand)
RECORD (folder)
VOICE (folder)
.DS_Store (file)
still it wont function.

already solved the problem, did extensive search on MyMPxPlayer.org forum, and with some risks, tried backup-ing the firmware, repair, then reloading it to my MP4 player. works fine now. don't know what caused the problem though.

Can you tell me what the steps you used and buttons you press to do your recording? What you've done seems right, but just want to see what buttons you are pressing as it might need another button pressed to save it to your player.
