2 question of a Newbie

Well. How I do a backup of my firmware? If a i edit that backup my sucess chance of have a custom firmware are bigger?

You need to first extract your firmware from your player using s1fwx.

Then you can change the images using s1res

Then reload your firmware to your player using MP3 Player Utilities Update Tool
