No Real 4GB or 8GB on the market?

Went to a store today and asked about the 4GB and 8GB the people there said they aren't out yet. If you get one that is 4-8GB it's hacked. Currently now these unbranded MP4 players are only 2 GB at biggest. Does anyone out there have a 4 or 8Gb that actually works?

If manufacturer plans to use more than 2gB flash memory, its cheaper to use a mini hd. Thats the reason because they are selling mp4 players with hd instead of flash memory.
