My clone came with a copy of Winamp Pro 5.....[solved]
 

On the CD that came with my nano clone, there was a copy of Winamp 5 Pro on it......but unfortunately does not seem to install. Does anyone else know about this issue? If so, how did you get it to install?

exmt, Try copying the install folder to your PC. If the folders have any symbols like small rectangles of chinese characters remove them from the folder names or just rename the folder winamp, then try installing.

Thanks for the tip tadad1..but unfortunately, I got this error(my screenshot):

So it looks like the data is corrupted or not burned correctly. How would I go about skipping the check?

To use /NCRC, click Start, choose Run, type the path to the installer (in quotes), add /NCRC and hit enter. For example, if the installer is in

C:\My Downloads\Programs\Winamp.exe, type:


"C:\My Downloads\Programs\Winamp.exe" /NCRC

If it is corrupt you will more than likely get further error messages.

Ran NCRC and got more errors. Looks like file is corrupt. Thats okay because I already have a copy of Winamp 5 on the computer. Thanks for the detailed help anyways! :)
