GuyP, hilla01, Make sure you have the repeat setting on Normal.

I had the same problem, and solved it inadvertently by selecting the Restore option under the System menu. This put the player into Chinese, causing a lot of bad language. Fortunately this site had the instructions to get back into English again, and after I had, the folder selection worked.
